Katteri is a long due for release horror-comedy genre flick directed by Deekay of Yamirukka Bayamaen fame. The film stars Vaibhav, Sonam Bajwa, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Aathmika, Karunakaran, Ravi Maria, etc

The flashback is quite convincing, but both the horror and comedy fail to click due to lackluster writing from the director and exaggerated performances by the artists.

நகைச்சுவை- திகில் என இரண்டுமே இந்த படத்தில் ஈடுபடவில்லை. இதுவே படத்திற்கு மைனஸ் ஆக அமைந்துள்ளது. பலமுறை பார்த்த கதை என்பதால் சலிப்பு தட்டி இருக்கிறது. இன்னும் சொல்லப்போனால் படத்தை பார்த்துவிட்டு பேயே தயவுசெய்து இந்த மாதிரி படம் எடுக்காதீர்கள் என்று சொல்லும் அளவிற்கு கதை உள்ளது. மியூசிக்கும் ஓரளவு கை கொடுத்திருக்கிறது. ஆனால், எடிட்டிங் சொல்லும் அளவிற்கு இல்லை. ஒளிப்பதிவு படத்திற்கு பலமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. மற்றபடி காசு கொடுத்து சென்ற ரசிகர்களுக்கு ஏமாற்றம் தான்.

Kaatteri movie revolves around a novel in which the lead actor and actress should find what is real and what is fake. The lead characters step forward in the journey as a treasure hunt and get struck by the chaos. Then comes the ghost thrill and horror. The sudden appearance of the Ghost and sound modulation is the only thrill in the film.
Other than that, the storyline is also more like a usual story. The music is also average throughout the movie Katteri. Since there are many comedy actors, the Katteri movie is more fun than a thrill. The dialogues are good but should have been presented a little better so the audience would have been satisfied.

படத்தின் முதல் பாதியில் இருந்த சுவாரஸ்யம் இரண்டாம் பாதியில் ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக குறைகிறது. வில்லனை மறைக்க என்ன தான் ட்விஸ்ட் வைத்தாலும், காஸ்டிங்கிலேயே கண்டு பிடிக்கும் அளவுக்கு இருப்பது மைனஸ் ஆக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. வரலக்ஷ்மி சரத்குமாரின் போர்ஷனை இன்னும் சற்று மெருகேற்றி இருக்கலாம். திரைக்கதையில் சறுக்கும் இடங்களில் கூடுதல் கவனத்தை செய்திருந்தால் இன்னமும் படம் அருமையான படமாக அமைந்திருக்கும். பொய்க்கால் குதிரை - ஒரு முறை பார்க்கலாம்!

இந்தப் படம் இரண்டு மணி நேரம் மட்டுமே. அது படத்திற்கு ப்ளஸ். அதேபோல் டி.இமான் இசை படத்தை காப்பாற்ற முயற்சித்தள்ளது. மேலும் பிரபு தேவா, அவரின் மகளாக வரும் சிறுமி, வரலட்சுமி சரத்குமார், ஜெகன் ஆகியோர் தங்கள் பணியை சரியாக செய்துள்ளனர்.
பொய்கால் குதிரை படத்தின் நாயகன் இறுதியில் மட்டும் வெற்றியடையாமல், இன்னும் சில இடங்களுல் புத்திசாலித்தனமான செயல்பட்டிருந்தால் வெகுவாக ரசித்திருக்கலாம். இருந்தாலும் பிரபு தேவாவின் நடிப்பில் கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளில் வெளியான படங்களை விட இது சற்று ஓகே என நினைக்க வைக்கிறது.
