Gokulam (1993) is a Tamil romantic drama film directed by Vikraman. The film stars Jayaram (in his Tamil debut) and Bhanupriya, with Arjun Sarja in a supporting role. It was released on 11 June 1993.
The film tells the story of Chellappa (Jayaram), a young man who falls in love with Gayathri (Bhanupriya), a young woman who is from a wealthy family. Gayathri's father, however, does not approve of their relationship and he sends her away to study abroad. Chellappa is heartbroken, but he vows to wait for Gayathri to return.
