Viruman is a Tamil movie written and directed by M. Muthaiah and starring Karthi and debutant Aditi Shankar, while Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, Soori, Karunas, Vadivukkarasi, and Saranya Ponvannan play supporting roles. The film is produced by Jyothika and Suriya under 2D Entertainment. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is handled by Selvakumar S. K.

Viruman is a basic and formulaic mass entertainer which has little to boast about but keeps the ball rolling due to the presence of the cast and some sort of an emotional quotient.
